With regard to fishing tournaments, Lake Dardanelle and the state of the art Lake Dardanelle State Park, Weigh-in Facility located in Russellville, is well noted for hosting many prestigious Bass fishing tournaments.
We have hosted four ESPN - B.A.S.S; nationally televised tournaments along with several FLW Series tournaments and two WBASS major tournaments. Every major Arkansas
tournament series fishes Lake Dardanelle at least once every year. Many out of stateRegional Tournament qualifiers are held here each year.
Dardanelle has been and still is one of the top bass
fishing lakes in the state.
